Insurance Reinstatement Valuation 

A Reinstatement Valuation is an estimation of the cost of rebuilding a property in the event of total destruction. An accurate assessment will eliminate the risks associated with under insurance and will avoid payment of excessive premiums for over insurance. 
 
If your property is undervalued, you may not receive the full cost of reinstatement. Even if your policy is index linked, it is wise to have your insurance valuation periodically re-calculated to ensure you have sufficient cover. This should ideally be re-amended every 4 years to ensure index linking hasn't become inaccurate. 

Market Valuation 

There are various situations whereby a market valuation of a residential property is required, such as for tax or Probate purposes. 
 
Our Market Valuations are undertaken in full compliance with the current Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Valuation Professional Standards.
